Olly joined Greycoat in 2025 and sits within the Strategic Land team.
Olly has been involved in planning and development for over twenty years with roles spanning local government, environmental and planning consultancy and project development across the property and renewable energy sectors. Prior to joining Greycoat in 2025, Olly spent 9 years at Ptarmigan Land, where he played a key role in the promotion and delivery of strategic land projects across the south-east of England. During his time at Ptarmigan, Olly led on securing land and promoting large scale development projects through every stage of the project lifecycle. This included coordinating infrastructure delivery, and working closely with landowners, local authorities, political stakeholders and wide-ranging community interests to bring forward significant residential-led mixed-use schemes. At Greycoat, Olly continues to drive forward and unlock strategic land developments to deliver sustainable new communities and long-term growth and is playing an integral part in delivery of the Chelmsford Garden Community and Bourn Airfield projects as well as considering new opportunities.
Notable projects:
- Chelmsford Garden Community – Overseeing implementation of initial phases of delivery comprising 750 homes and taking a lead role since 2016 in promoting the next stages of development as part of a developer consortium for a new mixed use garden community of 6,250 homes, including schools, transport infrastructure, employment space, and green infrastructure, with a focus on placemaking and long-term stewardship.
- Berinsfield Garden Village – Promotion of a new 1,900 homes Garden Village into the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, securing its removal from the Green Belt to facilitate the regeneration and renewal of an existing village.
- Birchington on Sea – Promotion of a 1,600 homes Sustainable Urban Extension in Thanet Kent, leading on early-stage promotion, political and stakeholder engagement up to submission of the Outline Planning Application.
- M40, Oxfordshire – securing a promotion opportunity for an industrial & logistics development that could deliver up to 700,000 sq ft of floorspace to assist Oxfordshire’s transport decarbonisation targets.
