Nick Millican

CEO

Nick has overall responsiblity for investment, strategic asset management and capital partner relationships at Greycoat, having led the group as CEO since 2012.

Prior to Greycoat, Nick spent 6 years at Rockpoint, overseeing their UK investment and asset management. Nick studied Chemistry at Worcester College, Oxford before joining the Investment Banking team at Citi. As well as an integral role at Greycoat, Nick is a Trustee of the Chickenshed Theatre Trust and created and seeded the Healthworkers Support Foundation, an initiative delivering food parcels to hospital workers during the covid pandemic. During Nick’s time as CEO, he has curated a diverse team that incorporates a unique field of expertise combining finance, structuring and a core bricks and mortar approach that drives Greycoat’s strategy and success today.

Notable projects:

  • Leading the acquisition of a minority stake in MOTO, the UK’s leading MSA business, then negotiating the sale of the entire MOTO business to a leading UK pension fund in 2015.
  • The acquisition and the redevelopment of Premier Place, EC2, where the building was entirely pre-let and forward sold to a prominent Asian investor in 2020.
  • The raising of c. £170m of structured co-investment and investment capital from the principals of a leading European buy out fund in 2021.
