Ewen MacPherson
CFO
Ewen joined Greycoat in 2015 and is responsible for corporate finance and financial management at Greycoat including developing and maintaining relationships with investors, structuring and executing transactions and securing both development and investment loans for our investments.
Prior to Greycoat, Ewen spent 7 years in charge of corporate finance at Telereal following 11 years in investment banking at Schroders, Citigroup then Morgan Stanley where he originated and executed transactions including, the £2.4 billion sale of BT Property, the £477 million take private of BPT, the €2.7 billion acquisition of Taittinger and its hotel business, over £1 billion of IPOs as well as over £12 billion of debt financings including Land Securities £5.5 billion secured refinancing.
At Greycoat Ewen has been involved in the structuring and execution of the majority of Greycoat’s transactions including:
- Securing financing for Premier Place and Stirling Square
- Negotiating and executing the terms of c. £170 million of structured co-investment and investment capital from the principals of a leading European buy out fund in 2021
- Structuring and executing Greycoat transactions including Premier Place, Vintners Place and Christchurch Court
