Associate - Acquisitions and Investment

Daniel joined Greycoat in April 2024 as an Associate on the Acquisitions and Investment team.

Dan’s focus is on analysing and underwriting new office and special situations opportunities, as well as managing and executing transactions. Dan joined Greycoat in April 2024, bringing over five years of experience as a consultant specialising in performance improvement and restructuring.

Before joining Greycoat, Dan worked at KordaMentha, where he was involved in high-profile corporate performance improvement and restructuring projects in Australia. He played a pivotal role in delivering $30 million of bottom-line improvement for a major healthcare provider, and advised management and Board on turnaround strategies for large universities facing financial challenges. His work spanned complex financial diagnostics, transaction services, and integration, with deep expertise advising management, boards and working with private capital partners. Dan has a Commerce (International) degree from University of New South Wales, majoring in Finance with a minor in Spanish, as well as being a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Notable projects:

  • Project team and transaction management of Greycoat acquisitions of 140 Leadenhall (£20m), 55 Strand (£25m) and 120 Aldersgate (£23m) in Q2 and Q3 2024.
  • Delivered a $30 million improvement to the bottom-line within 9 months for a $500 million revenue healthcare provider.
  • Led turnaround and performance improvement strategies for two large multi-state universities during the Covid-19 crisis.
  • Conducted a financial review and viability analysis for a major ASX-listed beverage manufacturer.
