Stonecutter Court Acquisition

Greycoat and investor Ivanhoé Cambridge, the property arm of Canada’s Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, has bought Stonecutter Court, EC4, from Hines Global REIT.

The asset comprises approx. 153,000 sq ft in three buildings arranged around a central courtyard, immediately to the south of Goldman Sachs’ new 850,000 sq ft headquarters development.

Principally let to Deloitte until 2019, and forming part of its Midtown campus, the asset provides opportunities for short term active asset management, as well as medium to long term refurbishment and redevelopment initiatives.

Meka Brunel, Ivanhoé Cambridge Executive Vice President for Europe said, “London is one of the key European cities in which Ivanhoé Cambridge wants to build a critical mass of high-quality assets. Stonecutter Court’s location in Midtown and its overall features respond precisely to our long-term investment objectives.”
